Reflecting on Jonah - Sometimes God has a plan/mission for us to do. Are we truly listening and trusting Him? Are we not focused on what He is telling us or scared of the consequences of what people may think? Rather than running from God, trust and obey Him. Like Jonah, we may find things in life we don’t want to do or doesn’t feel right and we turn away. God with his mercy will give us another chance. I pray for myself to “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean note on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
