I love the book of Joel. It is a book of judgement and Hope (Restoration). The one verse that STICKS out to me is Joel 3:21, "Shall I leave their innocent blood UNAVENGED? No, I will not." The LORD dwells in Zion!" Two things I see here: 1. God will Avenge. I don't have to get revenge. God will repay. 2. God is WITH ME. He promises to DWELL in Zion...Jerusalem. His presence is ALWAYS WITH HIS people.
